Wow. I just got browserjacked off the New York Times website. I think it came off a redirect to some website with sexinthecity in the url. It was one of those fake malware alert/free system scan scam sites. It launched a phony "scan" without my permission.

The funny part was that the "scan results" spoofed the Windows Vista explorer interface... But I'm running Ubuntu Linux, haha. Usually Adblock kills this kind of crap, but this one must be new. Anyway, I added it to my Adblock Filter, so next time it can't hijack my browser.

Even the New York Times has malware! Of course, everyone knows better than to download unsolicited "antivirus" software, right?
